Biography

Kenneth Lester Jr bka KJ Spittin was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on September 20th, 1988. At the age of four KJ and his family moved to Philadelphia, PA and there is where he still resides and continues to strive at his best. At the early age of ten, he started discovering his talents for writing lyrics. By the time KJ reached High School he was introduced to the mixtape world. He was big on G-Unit Radio mixtapes, and he was also into DVD's like Smack, Headshots, and 2Rawforthe streets just to name a few. After high school, KJ Spittin's life started, going a different direction he decided that he wanted to pursue College, after a few years he decided to come home to be with his daughter and focus on his music. KJ gets his inspiration from Artist such as Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Fabulous and a host of others. In the meantime KJ has recently recorded his first debut single in December of 2008. When it comes to KJ Spittin and his lyrics he knows on the inside his music has to be felt. He also believes in telling a story to his listeners, as long as they are willing to listen. The ability that he has to create wonderful hip hop lyrics is indeed his greatest gift; the fact that you may enjoy it and respect it is truly an honor. KJ hopes at least one of his songs takes you on a musical journey, gets you moving and dancing to the mad beats that come along with the unforgettable lyrical magic in which he performs. His goal to the world is for others to be able to relate and enjoy his work as he continues to strive to be his best and climb the hip hop mountain to the top.
